Engineering
Council will advise you of any additional fees during assessment of the application and payment will be required prior to any approval. Please refer to Council’s adopted Fees and Charges.

Driveway DelineationSelect this option to submit an application/approval for Driveway Line Marking.
Driveway Works/Vehicle EntranceSelect this option to submit an application/approval for Driveway works (Public Domain Construction - Vehicle Entrance/Driveway).
Frontage WorksSelect this option to submit an application/approval for Frontage Works (Public Domain Construction - Frontage/Civil Works).
Hoarding, Scaffolding and Fencing Select this option to apply a permit and associated licence to erect a Hoarding, scaffolding or temporary fence associated with a development and enclose a work area. These include site fencing, types A&B hoarding, Type A & B hoarding with scaffolding and type B hoarding place site sheds.
Occupation of Unregistered Item(s) e.g. Skip or waste containerSelect this option to submit an application/approval to: Occupy the Roadway with an Unregistered Item.
Unregistered items include waste containers, skip bins and other unregistered items.
Public Land Access ApplicationSelect this option to submit an application/approval to gain Temporary Public Land Access or to occupy council land.
Stand & Operate Registered Vehicle/PlantSelect this option to submit an application/approval to: Occupy any part of the road, footpath or carpark to work from a vehicle parked on the street. Stand & Operate Registered Vehicle/Plant covers use of mobile cranes, concrete truck, concrete pump or other similar vehicles.
Temporary Closure of the Road or Footpath or CarparkSelect this option to submit an application/approval to: Temporarily close any part of the road, footpath or carpark to vehicle or pedestrian traffic.
Temporary DewateringSelect this option to submit an application/approval to: Temporarily Dewater and pump out ground water from the site and discharge into Council’s drainage system including the road gutter, gutter, pits and pipes.
Temporary Shoring/Support using Ground Anchors in Council Land Select this option to submit an application/approval to: install Temporary ground anchors in or under a public road to support excavation below the existing road surface level.
if you are planning to install and operate a dewatering system along with this application ensure that you also lodge a Temporary Dewatering Application EP07.
Tower CraneSelect this option to submit an application if you are seeking to use a Tower Crane to swing or hoist over and across council property (including roadway). This permit is required when tower crane(s) are used inside the work site and will swing, slew or hoist over Council property or asset.
Works ZoneSelect this option to submit an application for a statutory Works Zone if you are seeking to create a temporary signposted parking area adjacent to your building site for work vehicles and deliveries.
Information Requests
Bayside Council provides access to information in accordance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act).
The GIPA Act aims to make a wide variety of Council held information available to all sectors of the community unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure.

INFORMAL RELEASE
Council is encouraged to release information informally, subject to any reasonable conditions. Information that may be requested under informal access includes complaints excluding the complainant details, property owner details for tree or development and building applications not available online. For this option, please choose (Informal) Open Access to Information to Information below.

FORMAL RELEASE
The release of all other information not made available online or by informal release can be made by way of a Formal Request for Access to Information (access application). Such requests may include information involving the business or personal information relating to a third party who must be consulted before the information can be released, information which is of a confidential nature or involves an extensive search. For this option, please choose Formal Request Information below. Your application will be processed and determined by Council's Right to Information officer within 20 working days, in accordance with the GIPA Act. The fee for a Formal application is $30.00 and may be subject to further processing charges.

Formal Access Information RequestSelect this option to apply for Formal access to information held at Council under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 and associated Regulations. The fee for a Formal application is $30.00
Dividing Fence Information AccessRequest for information in order to deliver a fencing notice in accordance with section 11 of the Dividing Fences Act 1991.

Flood Advice/Certificate/ModelSelect this option to submit an application for a Flood Advice/Certificate or to request access for use of Council’s flood model.
Road OpeningSelect this option to submit an application/approval to: Open the Road Reserve area – including Roads, footpaths or nature strips. This is for any purpose including relocation /re-adjustments to utility services.
Tree removal or pruning consentApplication for removal or pruning of a tree on private property.
